Copyright and permission for use for all photographs
are under the auspices of VAGA, New York. All photographic
rights are reserved by the Estate of Robert Smithson.
Permission for the use of any photographic materials must be obtained
from VAGA, New York.
Photographs are obtained from The Estate of Robert Smithson. The Estate
requires written or faxed letter with Xerox images of the works being
requested for publication. Requests via emails for photographs will
not be accepted by the Estate.
Photo requests for publication purposes are granted on a case by case
basis. Please contact VAGA with a full description (what purpose:
publication or academic paper, name of publisher if applicable, how
many imprints if applicable. Send photo request correspondence to
both VAGA and the Estate of Robert Smithson c/o James
Cohan Gallery.

Must arrange visit with The Marsh Enterprise (Melba
Knowles). The Marsch Enterprise personnel personnel are the only ones
who are authorized to drive to the ramp. All visitors are taken to
the ramp by Marsh Enterprises.
Important: RAIN: If it rains, the visit will be cancelled.
All visitors should be aware that it could take two days for the land
to dry properly in order to drive to the artwork. A rain date would
be made.
